How to Fight Depression & Feel Awesome Without Drugs

http://amzn.to/2dpZO8o
Have you ever felt depressed?

Depression is something that is familiar to pretty much everyone.

When depression hits us, we tend to all react in a different way.

Depression can be extremely deadly if you don't know how to deal and manage with it.

So it's important to understand how this Lethargy Cycle works.

The Lethargy Cycle
First, have you every said to yourself "there's no point" or "it's too difficult?" Well, those are really self-defeating thoughts. Which is how this Lethargy Cycle begins.

This is followed by self-defeating emotionswhen you feel helpless, worthless and overwhelmed.

To complete the cycle, you end up with self-defeating actions. This is when you lay in bed or on the couch all day feeling depressed. You stop all activities and avoid all people.

As a result, with this cycle you really convince yourself that you are a nobody and a loser.

You're left paralyzed.

Most of us get stuck in this downward spiral and it's a race to the bottom.

How do you break this cycle?
One of the things people first notice when one is depressed is their lack of energy.

So reverse engineering the situation, you need energy to stop depression.

But if you don't generate the proper energy, you will continue to stay depressed.

It's a Catch-22.

You have to find a way to focus on one of the issues and muster anything you can to find a way. That means finding professional advice on getting help with depression or on gaining energy.

It's a tricky situation.

What most people do is focus on how to completely rid of their emotions thereby eliminating depression.

In other words, becoming numb to the situation.

Often, drugs are an easy escape for most.

It's important for me to say that I am not ignorant to the situation when it comes to depression. Some people do need medication and drugs. That is for you and your doctor to decide.

But for the rest of us, I feel that our emotions are like a language.

You can say depression is a way of our body telling us we aren't doing what we need to be doing.

Which is probably why we feel like crap.

Change your view on depression. Use it as fuel to move you forward and in the right direction towards your goals.

The 3 Major Keys To Success

http://amzn.to/2dy6L8H

"The starting point of all achievement is desire. Keep this constantly in mind. Weak desire brings weak results, just as a small fire makes a small amount of heat."― Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich

Desire is the beginning of all achievement.

It is the fire burning within you.

But what exactly does that burning desire fill?

Desire brings forth belief.

You can say that having belief is almost interchangeable with having faith.

Just having a bit of faith will allow you and me to move mountains.

It is really that powerful.

Desire and Belief must be present to have success.

I don't know what your goals are. Whether it is to accumulate wealth, meet the love of your life or achieve general happiness, you need to have both of these to achieve success.

When starting out, it's normal if you don't have a burning desire. But that doesn't necessarily mean, it isn't there or it can't grow. It's just means you're starting out with a normal desire.

Now that you have gotten to a point where your desire if filling up your belief and your belief is growing...what exactly does belief lead to?

It leads you to the "how to."

In other words,  it leads to you making a decision on how to accomplish your goal.

The Action.

From there, the cycle flows.

Your action feeds the desire and it repeats the process.

Be careful not to fool yourself though. Actions will be weak if you don't have both desire and belief.

Often, a lack of decision (procrastination) is where most people freeze with fear and inertia. Most ideas don't ever lift off the ground and remain just ideas.

We often wait and wait for the right moment. But that perfect moment won't ever come.

When you feel stuck just remember Newton's Law of Motion. A body at rest tends to remain at rest. A body in motion tends to stay in motion.

You must create action.

Even it's a small step, you must create momentum.

Remember what the billionaire Charlie Munger said, "Step by step you get ahead, but not necessarily in fast spurts."

This will allow you to continue that action (remember the cycle).

Now you're probably saying to yourself I know this already.

Yes, it's rather a simple concept.

Most of us know what we need to do.

But why aren't you doing what you need to do?

It can be a lot of things: failure, lack of money, self-esteem, or even a lack of a mentor.

Don't beat yourself up.

From talking with and reading about many successful people, it's often the fear of failure that makes us feel like we're stuck in mud.

In order to grow from this mindset, you just have to conquer the way you process failure. Failure should be viewed as a way of learning.

Now you have the knowledge from past failures (yours and others) you can begin the next day more intelligently to achieve success.

Risk & Reward

Don't be dominated by fear. If there are opportunities that come to your life with rewards and no risk, make the more correct decision.

If you invested $100 into something that can make you $1000 and with a guarantee of your money back. Isn't that a no brainer?

The problem here is that not many think with an investor mentality. Most of us think in a poor scarcity mentality.

What does that mean? Poor people think of risks first. They think that $100 is too risky to spend on bettering their lives. Now, that's not true depending on the reward. If the reward = $1000 or a better life...isn't that worth it to you?

What if a book, event, or even a program changed your life? Maybe, the benefit is you become more of a happy person and secure. That is a huge reward many seek. It's also a reward that keeps giving because now that you are more secure and happy, you will attract other quality people who are too. Several other doors will open as a result. Maybe find the love of your life.

Risks should be calculated through a weighted probability. Questions such as what are the odds? Is there a chance of getting my money back (refund)? What else could I invest my money in? What do I usually spend my money on? Usually people spend on things that rust, rot and depreciate. In other words, no value.

If you can get your hands on a sweet deal where you are guaranteed your money back...what does that say about you if you don't jump on that offer?

Don't think with a broke mentality. Do yourself a favor and invest in yourself.

The Magic of Thinking Big: Wishing or Believing

http://amzn.to/2bS1Hyg
Everyone wishes.

I understand.

There’s no easier way to get away from reality than day dreaming about the good life.

But here’s what you need to know about wishing.

It’s dangerous.

The important thing you have to look at is the difference between wishing and believing.

Now this isn’t just semantics.

Majority of us go on for years with the lottery mentality.

We wish to become a millionaire.

We wish to be in better physical health.

We wish to find happiness.

It can be a lifetime before our wishes just magically happen.

The reality is, it won’t ever.

Until you are able to become aware of the difference between wishing and believing, you can fall victim to this fake sense of accomplishment.

So why is wishing so dangerous?

It tricks our minds into thinking that we’re really doing something.  But in reality, it can be counter-productive by leaving us inactive.

This psychological pitfall is known as moral satiation. This act of wishing or day dreaming leaves you feeling as you have done your job and nothing else is needed of you.

A perfect example of this is commonly found on social media. When we think we are changing the world just by voicing the world’s problems and injustice. It leaves us satisfied because we believe we are doing something righteous. But no actions are really being done to better the world and solving these problems.

Of course, this isn’t totally a black and white issue.

If you wish and day dream, it’s okay. The issue is when it controls and manipulates your life.

As mentioned above, there is a difference between wishing and believing.

Believing falls more in line with getting yourself in a mental place where the “how to” starts to develop.

I like to put it in these terms: Believing is helpful, while wishing leaves you helpless.

What’s one part of your life where you find yourself wishing the most?

The Greatest Secret Ever

There is one thing people lack in life that prevents them from reaching their goals.

It's called having a mentor.

People who have mentors reach their goals more often than people who don't.

Here's why you need a mentor:

A mentor will..

  • Keep you focused, even when you have a lot going on
  • Hold you accountable, even when you run out of motivation
  • Make you productive, even when you feel like you're not making progress
  • Stay positive, even when you're surrounded by negativity
So where do you find a mentor?

To be honest, finding a mentor isn't easy. Most mentors these days are too busy with personal projects to make themselves available.

But there's good news.

It just so happens I have a mentor to introduce you to today who has an 'virtual mentorship' program that gives you ongoing mentorship for a lifetime.

His name is Tony Robbins.

As a special way of introducing himself to you, Tony has created a free training on The Greatest Secret Ever you need in life to achieve success.
